Black Stars Captaincy: Gyan addresses fallout

One month after Ghana’s disappointing exit at the Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) in Egypt, Asamoah Gyan has addressed issues concerning his controversial participation in the tournament.

According to him, the Black Stars of Ghana would have gone further if he had played more.

Gyan believes that he was unable to make a significant impact for the Black Stars due to his limited game-time at the AFCON.

“I think I could have made a difference if I had played more but that’s the coach’s decision,” he he told Accra-based station, Joy FM in an interview.
