One of the biggest soccer charity event in Ghana, “Boots For Charity” took place over the weekend, the 4th of December, 2021 at the Dzorwulu Primary School.
The whole initiative is to use football which is dubbed the “Passion of the nation” to bring people from all walks of life together to help raise some funds to support the needy. Over the years Noble Hearts Foundation, organizers of this prestigious and amazing project have donated to street kids, orphanages, Mad men in the street, the Osu Remand homes etc.
However this year, the CEO or the brain behind this project, Daniel Kobina Sampson mentioned the organization was looking at reaching out to some autistic kids and expressing their love to them.
This year’s edition was dubbed the “Rep Your color” edition where we had various teams representing in the Red, Yellow, Green, Blue, White and Black. The Red which had the Dancers Fc emerged winners of this year’s Boots For Charity soccer event. Captain of the side, Fresh Agidi said his team were super charged ahead of this tournament and really wanted to let all Ghanaians know aside their creatives in dancing they are creative also on the field of play.
The event was attended by some renowned personalities and celebrities like the Commercial Director and the Marketing Manager for Promasidor Ghana, Mr Samir Sadaoui and Mr Shine Akiem Torsoo respectively we also had Popular Ghanaian movie Actor Fiifi Coleman, Albert Awere, Akwasi Boateng, The reigning Dancehall Artiste of the Year Epixode, Gasmilla, Tulenkey, CEO of Bello Couture etc. also coming through to support such a worthy cause.
