The Business Resource Center (BRC) model, is a strategic path to empower MSME’s to create sustainable jobs in the rural areas of Ghana.
These 67 One-Stop business centers offer an innovative approach to supporting businesses.
This goes a long way to empowering Ghanaian businesses to produce in Made-In-Ghana products.
THE STRATEGY OF AGENCY REPRESENTATION:
The Agency representation model of the BRC’s will ensure MSME’s who need support from regulatory agencies like, FDA, GSA, registrar general, etc, gain them from the 67 centers nationwide.
This ensures that the various regulatory agencies have a presence in 67 more operational zones (Cities & towns) in Ghana.
The BRC model is designed to strategically chart new paths for MSME’s growth. BRC’s partnering with private entities and NGO’s can accelerate job creation through entrepreneurship and credit facilitation for women and youth-led groups.
This kind of transformation in the way businesses are conducted will enable Ghanaian-owned businesses in the rural areas to have a holistic business support system to grow.
NETWORK OF SUPPORT FOR MSME’s:
The BRC as a business development entity will leverage its partnerships with GIPC, GEPA, AfCFTA secretariat, among others to ensure MSME’s in its operational zones have;
(I) Access to new markets
(II) Access to finance
(III) Creation of job opportunities in Ghana, especially for the youth.
A Ghana that has 67 vibrant and dynamic BRC’s, will ensure that MSME’s are well taken care of, through effective monitoring and evaluation.
This BRC model of business support, will drive innovation through its structures, and will lead to MSME formalization, access to credit, sustainable growth, and increased productivity.
Alan Kyerematen’s drive for job creation has taken another leap and we can conclude that, the BRC’s offer a comprehensive pathway for MSMEs to start and grow steadily to add to job creation opportunities for Ghanaians.
CONCLUSION:
Building in Ghana by Ghanaians to create massive job opportunities is the way to go, to reduce unemployment, and the BRC’s model seeks to fulfill that vision of practical business support.
The 67 BRC’s are here to stay and Ghana will be the better for it. Multiple job opportunities and wealth creation is moving up another level. Cheers to the world-class business centers.
Hurray !!!
