Bring Your Wee Smoker – Police Tells Rev. Obofuor
The Police says they would rely on the founder of the Anointed Palace Chapel, Francis Antwi, popularly known as Rev. Obofour to lead them to Razak Lomotey, the 41 year old man seen in the video smoking Indian hemp.
According to the police the man of God would be required to help the Police to locate the suspect at the center of the controversy whichever way possible.
Find Him
The Deputy Public Relations Officer of the Accra Regional Police Command, Inspector Kwabena Danso told THE NEW PUBLISHER in a telephone interview yesterday that the police have begun investigations into the matter.
“The investigation has just started, police investigations are not time bound, it’s a process so I can’t be specific, when the time comes (he will) be put before court.”
Inspector Danso further noted “He needs to help the police to locate the man who was allegedly seen in the video purportedly smoking the Indian hemp.”
Highly Spiritual
Rev. Obofour has since been granted bail after he was invited for questioning by the police over a viral social media video that saw him allegedly ordering a congregant to smoke Indian hemp.
Rev. Obofour was quoted by the police as saying in his caution statement that “while in the spiritual realm, the Holy Spirit directed him to deliver a congregant who was in the habit of smoking Wee.”
He stated that he only got to know that he had delivered somebody after the church service and as such it was a spiritual direction.
Meanwhile, Rev. Abruku Abruka in whose church, Crown of Glory Assembly, Rev Obofuor allegedly caused a congregant to smoke marijuana, has denied knowing the smoker prior to the incidence.
Rev Abruka’s denial comes on the back of the revelation by the smoker, Razack, that the man of God had pre-arranged with him to carry the ‘weed’ into the church.
Rev Abruku Abruka has, however, denied the allegations, saying Razack came to the church together with his friends who said they were on their way to a birthday party at a spot close to the church.
He explained that it was on their way to the spot that they decided to pass through the church on hearing about the presence of Rev Obofour.
“I only know one of his friends and not him (Razak).”
Staged-Miracle?
But Razack has claimed that he was hired to do it for cash and other stuff.
Razak also an ex-convict said the whole ‘Wee Miracle’ was planned between himself, Rev. Obofour and another pastor, Chris Asante, popularly called Abruku Abruka,
Razak made the claim on a television channel handled by a fetish priestess called Agradaa who is known to be on ‘warpath’ with Rev. Obofour in particular.
