Bugri Naabu enskinned Namong chief

Former Northern Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Daniel Bugri Naabu has officially been enskinned as a chief in his hometown today, June 29, 2019.

His new role as the Paramount Chief of the Namong traditional area in the North East Region comes after quitting politics as the member of NPP’s Council of Elders.

Daniel Bugri Naabu was enskinned with the skin name, Namong Lana II by the Overlord of the Mamprugu Traditional Area, Nayiri Naa Boahigu Mahami Abdulai Shriga II at his palace.

Several government appointees were at the venue to participate in the coronation. They were the Minister of the Northern Region, Mr Salifu Saeed and the Minister of the North East Region, Mr Solomon Boar among others.
