Bullet dissociates Himself from Works of Late Ebony

Rufftown Records CEO Ricky Osei Agyeman popularly known as Bullet has handed over the ownership of the late Ebony Reigns’ unreleased songs to her father, Nana Opoku-Kwarteng.

In a press release sighted by thepublisheronline.com, the head of Rufftown Records management announced that, ownership of unreleased songs written and recorded by late Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng before her demise, has been given to her father, Mr Opoku Kwarteng.

Mr Opoku Kwarteng who has been on media rampage for some time now has accused the manager of spending the money of her late daughter all to his selfish interest.

He revealed that, Bullet gave him next to nothing from the proceed realised from his daughter’s last concert after her demise. According to Opoku Kwarteng weeks ago on Adom fm, Bullet gave him only ¢2,000 out of the ¢39,999 he got from tickets that were sold at the concert.

The signed press release also stated that individuals or persons who wants further details about the Ebony Reigns and her songs should contact her father.

From this note, issues are so clear that, the management body has nothing to do with anything of the late musician who was once under the umbrella of the label.

Late Ebony won Artiste of the Year at the just ended Vodafone Ghana Music Awards making her first female musician to win such prestigious plaque in the history of the Award scheme.

Press Release

Rufftown Records wishes to announce to the fans and the general public that the record label is no more interested in releasing unreleased songs of the late Priscilla Opoku Kwarteng professionally known as Ebony Reigns who is the reigning VGMA Arttiste of the Year 2018 as promised.

With this the label will not he releasing any song from the 90s Bard Gyal, RuffTown Records owns 60% royalties of Ebony Reigns unreleased songs but we are giving away full ownership to her Father Mr Opoku Kwarteng..

All her unreleased songs that she wrote herself are owned by her father Nana Opoku Kwarteng. But the ones written by other songwriters still remains their intellectual property.
