Juventus mega signing Cristiano Ronaldo trained for the first time with his new teammates on Tuesday.
The Portuguese superstar joined the Old Lady in a four year deal valued at £99 million summer move from Real Madrid this summer, as he was put through a pre-season physical.
He spent nine seasons at the Santiago Bernabeu and won a total of 16 majo titles – four of which were Champions Leagues.
The former Manchester United forward and his new colleagues are preparing to take the begin their title defence against Chievio in the Serie A opener on August 19.
Ronaldo, 33, stretched and jogged his way through Tuesday morning’s session – and gave the double thumbs-up for the camera as he beamed throughout.
However, his arrival at the club has casted doubts on the future of Argentine forward Gonzalo Higuain, as the former Madrid star is said to be wanted by Chelsea – and is thought to be on the brink of a move to AC Milan.
However, Higuain was spotted going through the motions during Juventus’ training session as he appeared set in Turin.
Earlier reports argued that Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo touched down in Turin ahead of his first training session with his new club.
The 33-year-old has been afforded an extended break following his World Cup campaign with Portugal but that time off is drawing to an end.
Some Juventus supporters were waiting at the airport filming with their phones as the £100 million signing landed.
