Asante Kotoko Chief Executive Officer George Amoako has bemoaned the poor reception his outfit are receiving at the hands of Kariobangi Sharks ahead of Saturday’s CAF Champions League clash.
Ghana’s sole representative in the 2019 Africa inter-club competition, Asante Kotoko SC arrived in Kenya ahead of CAF Confederation Cup clash against Kariobangi Sharks which is scheduled to come off at the Kasarani MISC Stadium on Saturday.
But in an interview with Oyerepa FM from their base at the City Lodge Hotel in Kenya, Nairobi, the CEO of the Porcupine Warriors lamented bitterly how they have been treated poorly by their opponents.
“We are concentrating on why we came to Kenya, there’s no panic here just that the bus they gave us is not good, a very small bus which we have requested for a new one but through the Liaison officer they gave us, they say that’s all they can afford but I told him for better sporting relations, they should but they declined,” Amoako told Oyerepa FM.
“We are not perturbed but they should know we will also host them in Ghana and will give them same treatment, the same kind of bus.”
