Caleb Nii Boye starts new show on 3FM on June 18

Experienced media practitioner, Caleb Nii Boye is set to headline a new entertainment show on one of Media General’s several radio stations named 3FM 92.7 MHz.

The show, Showbiz 927, is expected to hit the airwaves beginning Saturday, June 18, 2022 and every other Saturday from 10AM.

The show is expected to treat listeners with a wrap up of the week’s biggest entertainment stories, in-depth discussions on issues bordering on the arts, tourism, and culture.

A panel discussion from expects will also provide incisive insight on issues, special celebrity interviews, among others.

Speaking to thepublisheronline.com ahead of the show, Caleb said the show will be informative, educative and extremely entertaining.

About Caleb Nii Boye

Caleb Nii Boye is one of the most renowned media personalities in Ghana. He is a winning radio and TV presenter, an actor, and a producer.

Until his move from STARR FM, he was the lead producer for StarrFM’s StarrDrive and mid-morning show, TheZone and he co-produced the station’s StarrChat which was initially hosted by Bola Ray but now Nana Aba Anamoah.

He was the host of the entertainment program ‘Showbiz On Star’ and his nickname is THE CONTROLLER.

Career

The radio personality commenced his radio journey on Radio GIJ as host of WeekendTrain, which was the most talked about and sought-after show on campus during his time as a student at the Ghana Institute of Journalism.

Due to his masterclass on the show, he won the Best Radio Presenter at the 2017 edition of the GHANA TERTIARY AWARDS.

He started working with StarrFM as a production assistant on its Saturday Entertainment Show, Morning Zoo and after 6 months, he was made a full-time producer of the same show.

In 2018, he was made producer of the mid-morning show hosted by veteran broadcaster Kofi Okyere Darko – who later moved on to host the drive time in 2019.

Caleb was later assigned to produced Senior broadcaster, Jon Germain on the morning show whom was later replaced by Cookie TEE.

He was once the Host of LIVE FMs Entertainment Show ShowBizLive before it was released to its new owners.
Aside from his regular radio duties, he is also an actor and he represented Ghana at the Next Movie Star reality show in 2013.

He has featured in several movies and some of these movies are Love or Something Like That, V-Republic, Grey Dawn, Before Noon, and Shampaign.

Caleb serves on the Academy for the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards & 3 Music Awards. Caleb hosted Ghana Tertiary Awards in 2020 & 2021, National Communications awards in 2020, and Communication Students Awards last year.

Accolades

He was in the news in 2018 when the whole nation shared nice words about him after he helped in saving young actor Strika of Beasts of No Nation fame from the streets. This was after Strika became a street beggar, however, the singular act of Caleb ensured that his life changed for the better.

He has been in the midst of some controversies as he headlines in January 2021 after he disclosed on GH One TV’s ‘Duvet’ show that he’s the best kisser in Ghana.
