Carlos Ahenkorah should be shot for snatching ballot papers in Parliament – A Plus

Social media commentator, Kwame A Plus believes Member of Parliament for Tema West, Carlos Ahenkorah should also be shot like any other Ghanaian for snatching uncounted ballot papers in the elections of the Speaker of Parliament in the early hours of Tuesday, January 7, 2021.

The election has been confirmed to have been won by Alban Bagbin, the candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

When it appeared the counting wasn’t going favorably for the New Patriotic Party, the MP-elect for Tema West, rushed into the center where counting was ongoing and snatched the remaining uncounted ballots in the hands of one of the parliamentary service staff.

The Tema East MP was given a hot chase and the ballots were taken back from him generating a scuffle in the chamber.

Reacting to this in a Facebook post, A Plus said the same way ordinary citizens are shot for snatching ballot boxes during general elections, same treatment should be leveled on the legislature for doing same wrong.
