Chief of Staff donation to Afia Schwar angers NPP footsoldiers

Claim by showbiz personality Afia Schwarzenegger that, the Chief of Staff, Frema Opare donated an amount of ¢50,000 to her and her family in addition to the transportation of a coffin to the country for the final funeral rites of her late father has angered several footsoldiers of the New Patriotic Party(NPP).

In a social media post, the actress noted that Frema Opare even after the donation urged her to make known any extra cost the family has to bear so she could help.

This, the party footsoldiers indicate betray their loyalty to the party, campaigning and doing all they can to make sure the party gains power.

According to them, they laboured for the party for many years and have been struggling to get less of that amount to start their own businesses, but rather found it prudent to donate such money to Afia Schwarzenegger.

In several Facebook posts sighted by The New Publisher, party footsoldiers made it known to the Chief of Staff and other party leaders to make the actress campaign for the NPP during the next general elections.

Popular serial caller, Sir-Obama Pokuase expressing his frustration wrote, “What the heck! All these for her, for which work, and at whose expense? Gracious me!”

Another person by name Nmaa K Torshie Torto also wrote, “Where was Afia Schwarzenegger when we were fighting for power? Not to talk of campaigning both on radio, TV, Communities through to house-house? Who in this administration ever called me for any position? The efforts of lobbying for one which makes you look like a FOOL and COMMON BEGER for the power you worked for is another story on its own.

“Those you worked closely with for power pretends they never know you from Adam not to talk of picking up your calls and you sign cheques and cash to lunatics! Still looking for the right adjectives to describe your kind.”

“I carried Akufo-Addo on my head like days of selling tomatoes at then Rawlings park where hawkers were being chased by Militia. We cleared the way for sluts to come and enjoy” she added.
