Chief Weeps Over Lack Of Infrastructure
NANA OSEI Yaw, the Chief of Adum-Afrancho, near Kumasi, has complained bitterly about lack of infrastructural projects in his community.
According to him, his community lacks essential amenities such as a community center, modern market for trading, waste disposal containers and others.
Speaking to the New Publisher in an exclusive interview, the traditional leader called for support from all-and-sundry to address their problems.
Nana Osei Yaw pointed out that the lack of the aforementioned amenities was impacting negatively on the developmental processes of the peaceful community.
He has therefore appealed to the government, especially the responsible agencies, to quickly come to their aid to help solve their infrastructural problems.
According to the chief, who obviously was not looking happy, the traditional leaders in the area, led by him, were doing their best to solve the problems.
He, however, said it has reached a stage where the government’s intervention was crucially needed to help develop Adum-Afrancho to appreciable level.
Nana Osei Yaw, who has the development of his community at heart, also urged natives of the area, from all over Ghana and beyond, to assist to transform the town.
