As the Christmas season approaches, one venue set to be a haven of undiluted ecstasy for every one of every age is the Chorkor community, specifically, at Claudees Pub!
Yes, in the spirit of community and the quest to project the good values associated with Chorkor and its environs, Claudees Pub in partnership with Play House.kom is set to host everyone at the maiden edition of “Christmas in Chorkor”.
The event which comes in three phases will commence with a massive unity walk dubbed “The Christmas Walk in Chorkor” from Claudees Pub on Saturday, 21 December, 2019 at exactly 5:45 am.
From the start point, the walk will lead participants through the principal streets in Chorkor and beyond to climax with a fun-filled aerobics on the street in front of Claudees Pub near the Vision Port School.
During this all-important session of what promises to be one of the biggest ever social entertainment event in the community, participants would be seen in jerseys of the soccer or sports teams they support as they are treated with good music from DJs while in the procession.
It will be “A Moving Jam In The Street!” In all, over 400 participants have subscribed to participate in the walk and more are expected to join.
‘Christmas Walk in Chorkor’ according to the organisers will be the official opening of “Christmas in Chorkor”, after which the next phase would be on the eve of Christmas with “Christmas Bonfire and Cinema in the Street” with free Popcorn at Claudees Pub from 5:00pm and then end on 26 December with an Inter-Area Soccer Galore (Aponkye Cup) in the morning, “Free Tsintsinga Live Band Carnival with the Dzadzeloi Band” from 3:00pm till Day Break. Participation is free!
Supporters of the event include GBC News Tv, Pan African Tv, the Insight Newspaper, The New Publisher Newspaper, Bentequa Real Estate, Metro Tv and Obonu Tv. At “Christmas in Chorkor”, the slogan is “Kaafee Sikin Pain: Blonya in Chorkor…Onaapo!
