Ghanaian musician Cina Soul has said there is no need for musicians to waste their time talking about royalties from the Ghana Music Right Organisation (GHAMRO) if they can make hit songs.
According to Cina Soul who spoke on TV Africa in an interview, there is no need for musicians to chase GHAMRO for the so-called royalties from their craft because nothing better is going to come out of that conversation.
The musician who apparently appeared dissatisfied with the services received from the organisation in terms of royalties stressed “maybe I shouldn’t talk about that”.
However, she advised that musicians do not have to chase royalties if their music is performing well and bringing them massive endorsement deals.
“If you have a big song so many endorsement deal come your way, you get your endorsement deals and adverts”, she said.
