Couple Loses 3 Kids in Building Collapse

A couple at Nkawie Panin in the Ashanti Region has suffered a calamity of the highest order, after losing their only three children on the same day.

The siblings, one female of 4 years and two boys, aged 2 years and 8 months, died after a house collapsed on them in their sleep.

According to witnesses’ account, the deceased were sleeping in their parent’s room around 10pm on a rainy Thursday night, when the building collapsed on them.

The parents, who were outside the room at the time of the collapse, suffered serious injuries on their bodies.

Reports indicated that the incident occurred at a time when power connection to the area had been cut due to the heavy downpour.

Some Good Samaritans in the area managed to lift the heavy concrete blocks from the children but it was too late as they had passed on.

The father and mother of the children, who survived the scary incident with injuries, were rushed to the hospital for medical attention.
