COVID-19: Napo discharged from UGMC
The Minister for Education, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh has been discharged from the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC) after being admitted at the facility following fears he has COVID-19.
The minister was admitted at the health facility after he reported for poor health after the primaries of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Minister for Regional integration Dan Botwe who was also admitted at the facility has also been discharged. Their admission fueled claims they had contracted COVID-19.
However in a new statement signed by the Press Secretary to the Minister, Rodney Nkrumah-Boateng said Dr Opoku-Prempeh has been discharged with a “positive rapid antibody test.”
