Cudjoe Fianoo Eyes GFA Job
GHALCA CHAIRMAN, Cudjoe Fianoo, is contemplating contesting for the Ghana Football Association (GFA) presidency.
According to Fianoo, he is currently consulting with some big-wigs in Ghanaian football circles about his ambition and is expected to complete the consultations soon.
The experienced football administrator said he would make a final decision on whether or not to contest for the GFA top position in the near future.
“I am consulting some people, who are heavyweights in Ghana football as to whether I should contest for the GFA position or not.
“After the consultation processes, I will announce my final decision to the entire country”, he said on Nhyira Sports.
Cudjoe Fianoo said Ghana football, especially the local league, is not being managed properly and that the situation had been a source of worry to him and several others.
According to him, the GFA needs new ideas and pragmatic policies to help restore ‘renaissance’ in the way football is managed in the country.
“A lot of things need to be done at the GFA and that is why I am consulting to see if I should contest for the GFA president position”, he stressed.
