Highly respected Member of Parliament for South Dayi, Rockson-Nelson Dafeamekpor Esq. – the Majority Chief Whip, has described as a “silly joke” and “pure fabrications” reports that his testicles got squeezed without his consent by another Member of Parliament during the recent chaos that broke out at the Appointments Committee.
The balls squeezing allegation was put in the public domain by Alexander Akwasi Acquah, MP for the Akim Oda Constituency in the Eastern Region during an interview he granted to Kwesi Parker Wilson, host of the Oyerepa Breakfast Time (OBT).
Akwasi Acquah has not been able to produce any evidence whatsoever to back his allegation. He has also not been able to mention the name of the MP who allegedly squeezed the testicles of Rockson-Nelson Dafeamekpor.
This paper has also not been able to indecently verify the claim and therefore could not mention the name of Rockson-Nelson Dafeamekpor until he himself commented on the matter by way of a public denial.
The Majority Chief Whip, in response to the claims by the Akim Oda MP took to his X account to write: “pls ignore this JOKE. It’s pure fabrication. Hon. Akwasi Acquah, you know this is a silly joke.”
The claim of testicles-squeezing has gone viral but Alexander Akwasi Acquah, after his claim was denied has chickened out instead of justifying the basis of his allegation.
Below is a transcript of the exact part of the interview where Hon. Akwesi Acquah spoke about the squeezing of balls.
Hon. Akwesi Acquah: If the Speaker wants to bring in the issue of suspension, then he should have suspended a lot of people. For instance, he should have suspended me.
Kwesi Parker Wilson: What did you do to deserve a suspension?
Hon. Akwesi Acquah: If the Speaker watches the video well, he would know what I did. I am not the one to tell him what I did.
Kwesi Parker Wilson: You said you were taking tea during the chaos and in the video, you were seen laughing or attempting to laugh.
Hon. Akwesi Acquah: well, you know I have media experience and even if I would do something, I would dodge the camera.
Kwesi Parker Wilson: So you dodged the camera to misbehave?
Hon. Akwesi Acquah: You don’t understand. Someone bent down, a Member of Parliament bent down during the chaos. If two men and fighting and one of them bends down, what do you think he is doing . He held someone’s something and the person was screaming. Not many people saw what was happening.
Kwesi Parker Wilson: Oh really?
Hon. Akwesi Acquah: Yes. When Dafeamekpor was screaming, no one understood what was going on. But the MP bent down to do what he did.
Kwesi Parker Wilson: And the MP who bent down held another MP’s testicles?
Hon. Akwesi Acquah: Yes. The camera did not capture it but the screaming from Dafeamekpor and the way he was shaking as if he was under a spell was because someone has held his something.
Kwesi Parker Wilson: Did he tell you someone had grabbed his something?
Hon. Akwesi Acquah: Yes.
Kwesi Parker Wilson: Wow!
Hon. Akwesi Acquah: He said someone had held his something?
Kwesi Parker Wilson: He said someone had held his testicles?
Hon. Akwesi Acquah: Yes.
Kwesi Parker Wilson: Which MP did that?
Hon. Akwesi Acquah: Ah when chaos breaks up, things become difficult.
Kwesi Parker Wilson: Someone says I should ask you which MP did that?
Hon. Akwesi Acquah: It was Dafeamekpor whose testicles were grabbed and squeezed but the MP who did the squeezing, I cannot mention his name here.
Kwesi Parker Wilson: So you mean to say the MPs balls were held?
Hon. Akwesi Acquah: Yes
Kwesi Parker Wilson: And the one who held the balls was pulling them?
Akwesi Acquah: Yes, he was pulling and squeezing the testicles. Then I saw Dafeamekpor screaming. I saw when the other MP bent down and crawl under the table I saw him but I did not know why he had bent down and what he was going to do under the table Maybe he felt that was his tactics
