The date and venue for the funeral of deceased dance hall artiste Ebony Reigns may change due to hiccups in arrangements.
According to Ebony’s father Nana Poku-Kwarteng who spoke to Peace FM’s Kwasi Aboagye over the weekend, the family was encountering challenge of getting a venue for the funeral.
Earlier, it was announced that the funeral would be held at the Independence Square on 17th March, 2018 but Nana Poku indicated that the venue had already been booked.
“The venue is the challenge, we earlier had the indication that we could hold it at the Independence Square but as it stands now it has been booked by Aglow International. The forecourt of the State House has also been booked by the Canadian High Commission on that same day,” Mr. Kwarteng told Kwasi Aboagye.
He therefore stated that the family would be meeting the Chief of Staff on Monday 5th March, 2018 to finally decide on what to do.
According to the father the outcome of the meeting will determine where and when the funeral will be held.
