Nigerian afrobeats sensation, David Adedeji Adeleke, famously known as Davido, has recently launched his own social media platform named Chatter.
The announcement, made on Friday through his official social media handles, disclosed that Davido and his close associate, Sir Banko are co-owners of the app.
Describing Chatter as a social audiovisual platform, Davido emphasized its role in connecting content creators with a vibrant community, thereby enhancing their visibility.
Chatter marks Davido’s third venture into the digital sphere within the past eight months.
Earlier, the 31-year-old musician unveiled a cryptocurrency named $DAVIDO coin, which gained attention but faced controversy when its value plummeted shortly after its launch. This incident led to accusations from the cryptocurrency community, labeling it as a potential scam or rug-pull.
Despite the cryptocurrency setback, Davido remains active in diversifying his digital portfolio, with Chatter representing his latest effort to carve out a niche in the social media landscape. The platform aims to empower creators by providing them with a robust platform for sharing content and engaging with their audience in innovative ways.
Davido’s entrepreneurial spirit continues to drive him towards new digital ventures, with Chatter poised to become a significant player in the social media realm, offering unique opportunities for content creators to thrive and connect globally.
