Delta Force Man Joins NDC Over Hardship
A KEY member of the Delta Force Unit, a vigilante group with sympathies for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), has crossed carpet and joined the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Ernest Appiah Dankwa, the former Delta Force member, has disclosed that he decided to dump the NPP for the NDC because of the unbearable hardship that had gripped his family.
According to Ernest, even though some top members of the ruling party are making frantic efforts to convince him to reconsider his decision, he is resolved to holding on to his word.
He promised to work hard to convince other Delta Force members, who are wallowing in poverty, to desert the NPP.
Ernest Dankwa, who joined the NDC Ashanti Regional Unity Walk in Kumasi on Saturday, said he was given the privilege to meet former President John Dramani Mahama.
“I cannot continue to live in poverty after helping the NPP win political power so I decided to join the NDC. I even took part in the Unity Walk in Kumasi on Saturday and Appiah Stadium introduced me to ex-President Mahama.
“I am not done; I will lure other Delta Force members to join the NDC ahead of the 2020 polls”, he said in a chat with KK of Fox FM.
