‘Fa No Fom’ hitmaker, popularly known as DJ Azonto has describe celebrities who attended recent Occupy Julorbi House protests as worthless and have nothing better to do with their lives.
“Celebrities who are broke and don’t own businesses and have nothing better to do with their lives are those who attended the demonstration,” he said in an in interview on Property FM.
He further added that, no serious-minded celebrity showed up for the demonstration.
“Did you see any serious-minded celebrities at the demonstration, it is only poor artistes who attended such protests. Name one person among the celebrities who have lived a worthy life and built a house for themselves that attended the demonstration.
“Celebrities who attended the protests are lazy because time is money so if they had something better doing why would they go and stand in the hot sun to protest”.
Door Opening
In another revelation, he said his cross-dressing being condemned by Ghanaians is opening so many doors for him adding that, he doesn’t struggle to travel outside the country due to his female dressing.
He responded to a question on whether he’s not worried about the criticisms, “I’ve got calls from the Canadian embassy and all embassies are looking for me even the MP for Akwatia met me recently at the airport. A man approached me and said he’s the MP for Akwatia and when I come back to Ghana I should come for Gold which I’ll go for it on Monday.
He added, “The MP said he likes my dressing and he asked if he could take a picture with me and I was dressed in my female attire as usual at the airport. When I travelled my dressing gave me easy access to immigration with the team I travelled with including Guru and Solomon Arthur. My dressing gave us easy access because when it got to my turn, they said we should all pass and go so this is opening doors for me.”
