The Church today is in need of many more sons of Zebulun, men and women who are experts in war, can use all instruments and yet can keep rank.
But before you run off with keeping rank, that scripture explains why they could keep ranks. It says, they were not of a double heart.
In the work of the Kingdom, and indeed in every sphere of life that you desire to succeed, focus, or singleness of heart is key.
You cannot be neither hot nor cold; you must be decided. Many people break ranks because they want to please man; but beloved, you cannot afford to be a man-pleaser.
God has called you for a purpose, He saved you to fulfil purpose. No man died for you, so you cannot afford to live your life to please man; rather your focus should be on Him who paid the supreme price for you.
No matter how skilled you are, you are of little value if you cannot keep ranks.
God calls us into specific locations and commits specific assignments into our hands and expects us to do them diligently. If you are so consumed with the assignment, you would not give in to distraction.
Distraction comes when you look around. Stop looking around. Stop judging what your neighbor is doing or not doing. Be focused. Discouragement comes when you look down. God is your glory and the lifter of your head, so look unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher of your faith.
Be encouraged, Faithful is He that has called you and He will also do it. So, stay focused, look up and keep gazing at Him. The more you see Him, the more like Him you become.
Be the light in your world. Do not be of a double heart. If you have questions, be bold to ask. Do not be in the company of them that are neither here nor there, because such people are of little or no use to the Kingdom. Be a tool in His hands; let your life radiate His glory. You will testify.
