Domeabrahene Gets Doctorate Award
THE GOOD works of Domeabrahene, Nana Kusi Obuodum I, has been recognized outside the shores of Ghana, as he had been nominated for a doctorate award.
The Ministry of Education at Ukraine has penciled the traditional leader for ahonorary doctorate award following his positive works for his people.
In line with this, the Ministry of Education in Ukraine would appoint one of the prestigious universities in the country to award the degree to the chief.
The Bureau of Research on Governance, Commerce and Administration (BORGCA) did a research, leading to the selection of Nana Obuodum I for the award.
BORGCA gave their findings to Confederation of Governance Assessment Institute (COGAI), an agency in Ghana, who also relayed it to Ministry of Education in Ukraine.
The welcoing news was delivered to the Domeabrahene, Nana Obuodum I, at his palace at Domeabra, near Kumasi, some few days ago.
Dr. Edward Brenya, President, COGAI and a lecturer at KNUST, lauded the Domeabrahene for improving the living conditions of his people.
According to him, the chief’s short reign had led to massive improvement in the area of health, education, security and other areas.
Dr. Brenya therefore said the Domeabrehene is worthy to be nominated for honorary doctorate award to spur him on to do more for his people.
Isaac Rockson, Communication Strategists of COGAI, said the honorary doctorate award would be presented to the Domeabrahene at the KNUST in June, this year.
