Don’t Drag Me Into Politics – Eagle Prophet Warns Journalists
Prophet Reindolph Oduro Gyebi, alias ‘Eagle Prophet’, famous for his accurate predictions and prophesies has denied media reports that he has predicted victory for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) come election 2020.
The Prophet has therefore pleaded with the general public to ignore such news stories and also cautioned journalists to desist from the attempt to drag him into partisan politics or tag him with any of the political parties.
Speaking exclusively with THE PUBLISHER, the ‘Eagle Prophet’ said recently, he said on Hot FM that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) should pray and guard against a potential intra-party religious conflict between Christians and Muslims.
He said he was therefore shocked when a section of the media twisted his words to mean he had said the NDC would win the next general polls in the year 2020.
“I did not give a concrete prediction of prophesy that the NDC will win the 2020 elections during that interview as some news portals have reported, which has obviously twisted what I said on that fateful day.
“What I said was that the NPP should take appropriate steps to help prevent cracks in their party and if they listen to the voice of God and do the proper thing then they are safe. That was not a direct prophecy that the NDC will win 2020.
“I am a true man of God and if God reveals something to me in the spiritual realm, I will state it as it was shown to me without fear or favour. But the fact is that I have not stated at anywhere that the NDC will win the 2020 elections”, Eagel Prophet explained.
The Prophet said he is faithfully doing the work of God, with the sole intention of winning souls for God’s kingdom, therefore nobody should try to associate him with issues of partisan politics.
The Eagle Prophet repeated that if the NPP fails to deal properly with the looming religious conflict it may have negative effects on their political fortunes during the 2020 presidential and parliamentary elections.
He urged media practitioners to be circumspect in their reportage at all times so as to help prevent unnecessary tension and panic in the country.
According to him, his heart’s desire is to see God’s hand reigning supreme in the affairs of Ghanaians, stressing that partisan politics has no room in his ministry so the media should not try to attach partisan politics to his predictions.
The Eagle Prophet became a household name in the country after the man of God prophesied correctly that there would be a disaster at the Kintampo Water Falls, which would claim the lives of some students on excursion to the place.
He then warned that any school that was visiting the Kintampo Water Falls to quickly cancel the trip but his stern warning on radio was ignored and six days later there was disaster at the Kintampo Water Falls, with 20 students dying.
Prophet Oduro Gyebi, who is very popular in the Ashanti region and Ghana in general, has also predicted several future occurrences in the country and the world accurately.
