The woman in the Bible verse 2 Kings 4:13 is popularly known as the Shunammite woman. This lady was sensitive in the spirit to recognize Elisha as a servant of God and she opened her house to him with the consent of her husband. He hospitality opened her book of remembrance but when Elisha asked her, “what do you need?” her answer was interesting, she simply told Elisha: “I dwell among my people” in other words, I know my right, I am a citizen with access to the king. Elisha had to do his findings through Gehazi to identify her area of need. Are you like that woman, you have become comfortable in your need. You have written that area off and you have taken a quality decision to serve God in spite of the challenge. You probably have reached the point where you believe for others, but you tell yourself, heaven is a reality, let us forget about this.
If that is you, I have come to announce to you that God has not forgotten. He is opening your book of remembrance today. He is able, more than able to do that thing which you have termed impossible. Of course to man, it may be impossible. Doctors could have written you off, your bankers may have counseled you to file for bankruptcy, your child may have left home for so long you have learnt to live without him or her, but today, God has asked me to tell you that a change is coming. Open your spirit man, let God have His way. Let Him do that which only He can do and you will see Him transform your life for the better. If He did it for the Shunammite woman, now must more you, under a better covenant.
