Double Salary Saga: I Was Rather Under Paid – Haruna Iddrisu
The Minority Leader Haruna Iddrisu has refuted allegations of drawing double salaries as a Member of Parliament (MP) and Minister of State in the erstwhile Mahama administration.
Some NDC MPs have come under attack over allegations that they received double salaries while serving as both Members of Parliament and Ministers or Deputy Ministers.
The Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service is currently investigating the matter, inviting some of the accused persons for questioning.
Breaking his silence on the matter in an interview with Starr news’ Parliamentary Correspondent Ibrahim Alhassan since his invitation to the CID headquarters, Mr. Iddrisu said he was rather underpaid after his salary was reconciled.
“Since it is under investigation I will leave it under investigation,” he stated.
“But, there is absolute evidence that I was underpaid,” he added.
