Dumsor: Residents of Sunyani raises concern

Some aggrieved residents of Area One in the central business district of Sunyani in Bono Region have expressed serious concern about the continued power outages in the area.

They have attributed the situation to the ongoing construction work on a multi-purpose ‘Victoria Park’ as well as the reshaping and tarring of adjoining access roads, being executed by J. Adom Limited, a Sunyani-based international road construction company.

The aggrieved residents said the situation has created some discomfort to them and this has forced some traders in the area to close their shops.

The aggrieved residents made this known in an interview thepublisheronline.com. They further called on Authorities and the Minister of Energy, Mr Peter Amewu to intervene in the matter to bring an end to the frequent power shortages at their end.

According to them, the power shortages at their end is affecting their works leaving them lose big in their various businesses.
