Fire has gutted the Girls Dormitory of Nsutam Senior High School in the Eastern region. The situation according to information has worsened the accommodation plight of the school.
Reports show the fire started around 3pm in House-four of Room.
It took the swift intervention of personnel of the Ghana National Fire Service to douse the fire preventing it from spreading to other rooms.
The fire, according to eyewitnesses, destroyed mattresses, books, uniforms, beds and other belongings of the students.
The cause of the fire outbreak is not yet known. Officials of the National Disaster Management Organization(NADMO) and the Fire Service have began investigations into the incident.
