Edmund Kyei Woos US Investors To Ghana

PRESIDENT NANA Akufo-Addo’s remarkable works in political office, especially the successful introduction of the free Senior High School (SHS) policy, is being spread across the United States of America (USA), currently.

Edmund Kyei, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) First Vice Chairman for Asokwa Constituency, who is currently on a business tour in the US, insists President Akufo-Addo is on the right track so potential investors should support his administration.

According to the NPP National Communications Team Member, there were initial opposition and doubts that the free the SHS policy could not be implemented in Ghana now, but President Akufo-Addo, against all odds, has introduced the policy.

In this regard, Mr. Kyei, nicknamed as ‘Edmundo’, has appealed passionately to American businessmen to turn their attention to Ghana for investment, stressing that the President has laid a strong and fertile foundation for private business to grow.

The top NPP member was speaking during a meeting with the Georgia State Representative of District 39, Hon. Erica Renee Thomas.
The two dignitaries discussed how Ghana and the US could collaborate further to help transform the two sister countries.

Mr. Kyei stressed that Ghana is very peaceful, stable, has a strong economy and also boasts of a well educated and hard working human resource base, therefore doing business in Ghana would be a step in the right direction for any investor.

“America is a great country full of opportunities and Ghana is also the shining star of Africa, which is stable, peaceful and safe for investors from all over the globe to invest and make the needed returns in a short time”, he emphasized.

Mr. Kyei added “I am urging investors, especially from the US, to visit Ghana, notably in the Asokwa Municipality, in the Greater Kumasi, and invest to help revive the industries the area so as to help create more jobs for the hard working youth”.

The NPP capo, who is determined to see Asokwa, his locality, developed, also said he has formed the ‘Shout Africa Foundation’, a Non Governmental Organization (NGO), to accelerate Asokwa’s transformation, calling for partnership for foreign his NGO.

According to him, women empowerment, the proper education of the Ghanaian youth and attracting potential investors to invest in Asokwa and for that matter, Ghana in order to create jobs, remained his prime motivation in entering politics.

Erica Renee Thomas said she was highly impressed about Edmund Kyei’s efforts and determination to bring positive change in the lives of his people, assuring to support Mr. Kyei to realize his good intentions for his people abs country.

Meanwhile, Mr. Kyei’s desire to woo investors to Ghana has received a boost as Moses Michael Levi Barrow aka ‘Hon. Shyne’, the opposition leader for Belize, in Central America, has promised Mr. Kyei that he would market Ghana to investors in his home country.
