Edward Kpodo scores in FC Banants away win
Ghanaian defender Edward Kpodo grabbed his first goal of the season for FC Banants in their away win over city rivals Ararat Yerevan on Saturday afternoon.
FC Banants recorded a 4-2 victory over Ararat Yerevan in the Armenian top-flight league at the Hrazdan Stadium.
The 28-year-old registered his name on the score sheet with a powerful header on the 57th minute after his compatriot Nathaniel Asamoah has opened the floodgate on the 11th minute.
The two Ghana international lasted for the entire duration of the match.
Kpodo played for Ghana Premier League side Berekum Chelsea before leaving for abroad.
