The most publicized event of the month Efya Girl Talk Show had the biggest success yester night at the National Theater since the inception of the event.
Critics of Efya and the Girl Talk Concert were of the view that since Becca the former headline artist of the event was taken off, the concert will not be fun and exciting as it use to be but to their surprise the Efya Girl Talk Concept was a success story.
It was a thrilling experience for music patrons who attended the just ended Vitamilk Girl talk
. Headlining the annual ‘ladies only’ concert, The Vitamilk Girl Talk concert for the fourth year running, Efya gave a glowing account of her music talent.
This year’s concert was dubbed, “The Loud Concert”, witnessed impressive performances from Efya and some of her friends.
The crowd went haywire when Dancehall sensation Stonebwoy joined Efya on stage, they sang along, song after song as the duo performed their “All my love” hit.
This year’s edition dubbed ‘The Loud Concert’ may possibly be the final and last Girl Talk Concert Ghanaians will be witnessing. Efya, the main act of the night did not fail to impress as she gave fans exactly what they expected. The Gingam mistress performed for over 3 hours, changing costumes three times in the process. So many industry players including Nana Adwoa Awindor, mother of Efya, Moesha Buduong, Nana Aba Anamoah, Sandra Ankobiah, Princess Shyngle, Rosemond Brown and many more cane through to perform.
Other acts who performed on the night were Sister Derby, Adina, Sista Afia, Feli Nuna, Freda Rhymez, Kwesi Arthur, Eno Barony, among others. The night was not only about music as Kumawood actor, Akrobeto came through with some comedy with his ‘Real News’.
The annual Girl Talk concert started in 2011 with Becca as headline act until 2015 when Efya stepped in as the lead act.
