Election 2020: ‘Gyataba’ endorses Mahama

The Presidential Aspirant of the United Front Party (UFP) has declared support for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and its Presidential Candidate, John Dramani Mahama for the December 7 polls.

Nana Agyenim Boateng is sure that the endorsement is necessary in the lead up to the December 7 elections because the country is crashing under what he described as the corrupt Nana Addo-led administration.

The 2020 UFP Presidential Hopeful AKA, ‘Gyataba’ reminded Ghanaians that Ghana is in bad hands and that only John Mahama is the saviour.

Gyataba Out

Mr. Agyenim Boateng was one of the individuals who had his form rejected with the EC explaining three persons who endorsed his form have denied doing so.

Mr. Boateng subsequently dragged the EC to court insisting his disqualification was unlawful.

His lawyers presented to the court three letters from the persons said to have endorsed his form insisting they did endorse the form.

But the UFP Founder says that will not deter him from throwing his support behind Mr. Mahama.

Vote Mahama

Address journalists at a news conference in Accra yesterday he said “We have called you here to declare support and endorse H.E John Dramani Mahama and the NDC in the upcoming presidential election. Our party arrived at this conclusion at a just ended National Executive Committee meeting.”

Gyataba added: “We are therefore calling on all our rank and file and all our party supporters to canvas for votes and also vote massively for John Dramani Mahama in the presidential election.”

Bad Governance

Cataloguing series of reasons to vote out the NPP administration, Mr. Agyenim Boateng said “things have deteriorated in our country over the last four years. Every sector of the economy is moving in the wrong direction under this incompetent and inept government headed by President Akuffo Addo.”

He stated that “We therefore have a responsibility as a political party to work hard to remove this government from office as a matter of urgency. The level of corruption, incompetence, state of insecurity, nepotism, family and friends and the height of deception by this Akuffo Addo Sakawa government is sickening to say the least.”

Gyataba further argued “We are using this platform to plead with all Ghanaians to join the rescue mission and vote massively for John Mahama, to put this country back to the path of progress and development.”

Juxtaposing the John Mahama administration and the four years of the current NPP administration, Mr. Agyenim Boateng said President Akufo Addo will go down in history as the worst and most corrupt President the country has ever seen, stressing that the President who won the 2016 election on the deceitful slogan of incorruptibility and promised to fight the canker when voted for, has become the biggest enabler of corruption and fighting back at people fighting corruption.

The UFP Founder further alleged: “Today, Ghana is ranked among the three most corrupt countries in the world under president Akufo Addo. This is certainly not what we voted for and not the Ghana we want for our children and generations yet unborn, a reason we need to vote against Akufo Addo. Today Anas Aremeyaw Anas, Manasseh Azure, Domelevo and the citizen Vigilante, Mr. Martin Amidu are all hiding in fear of their dear lives for exposing corruption under Akufo Addo ‘the mother serpent of all corruption.”
