Election 2020: My position on ballot a sign of another victory – Nana Addo

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has said the New Patriotic Party (NPP) first position on the ballot paper is a sign of victory in the 2020 presidential elections. 

The presidential candidates contesting the 2020 general elections balloted for positions on the ballot paper on Tuesday, October 20, 2020.

The NPP picked the first  slot on the ballot, and the NDC selected the second position.

Whilst several NDC communicators have indicated that, the second slot signifies the second coming of former President John Dramani Mahama, Nana Addo believes the number one slot proves him to be victory at the end of the contest.

Speaking in an interview on Metro TV’s Good Evening Ghana hosted by Paul Adom-Otchere on Thursday evening monitored by thepublisheronline.com, Nana Addo who is the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) said he is hopeful of winning with the number one slot.

He said, “What is more concern to me is about the clarity, your face is there, your symbol is there. Kufour won when he was at the bottom, I am hoping that in this case being at the top would make me the winner. Let’s hope that since I am ONE and he (Mahama) is TWO, I’ll win over him”.
