EPL Results: Chelsea win 3:2 over Arsenal

Pedro Rodriguez sent Arsenal trailing on the 9th minute as the Spaniard slotted home past Cech after a lovely cross from Alonso on the left flank.

Alvaro Morata cushioned the lead for the host with a brilliant individual effort as he beat Mustafi one on one and slotted the ball at the near post.

Arsenal after conceding created a couple of chances with Henrikh Mkhitaryan failing to bury an opportunity from 18-yards.

Mkhitaryan, the former Manchester United man atoned for his miss as he produced a thumping strike which beat goalkeeper Kepa to pull one back for the visitors on the 37th minute.

Four minutes to halftime, Alex Iwobi met a cross from Mkhitaryan with a powerful shot to restore parity in the game.

The second half was a different story compared to the first as it was all Chelsea.

The host piled pressure on the Gunners in search of the winning goal which they got through Marcos Alonso who produced a low shot to beat Cech after a magnificent work from talisman Eden Hazard.

The Blues tried adding more goals to their tally but were not able to as the game ended 3-2 in favour of the Chelsea.
