Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) will send a three-member delegation to Ghana this week to get first-hand information of Anas Aremeyaw Anas’ latest exposé of corruption in Ghana football which involves GFA president, Kwesi Myantakyi. Ghanacrusader.com understands.
The FIFA council member was allegedly caught in the video using the President’s name and top government officials to incite potential investors to part with money.
Ghana’s President, Nana Akufo-Addo, who is thought to have watched an excerpt of the piece by the investigative journalist reported the matter to the police last Tuesday.
The FA boss, who was in Morocco at the time when the news broke was picked up on arrival last Wednesday by some police officers from the Criminal Investigation Department and was whisked away to the Headquarters for investigation.
Mr Nyantakyi who is also the 1st vice President of Africa’s Football Governing Body, CAF is still assisting the police in probing.
