A FINAL year student at the Tafo Methodist Junior High School (JHS) has been stabbed to death after he was attacked by a group of young boys on Saturday.
Isaac was said to be returning home with two female friends, when a group of young boys attacked him.
The deceased believed to be footballer, tried escaping but he fell down and his attackers took advantage to stab him in the rib with a knife.
He was taken to the Tafo Government Hospital by some good Samaritans but was pronounced dead even before he would be attended to by medical staff.
Abena Acheampongmaa, the mother of the deceased, has appealed passionately to the police to smoke her son’s killers from their hideouts to face the law.
She said the two young girls, who witnessed her son’s killing, have told the police that they know those who stabbed Isaac.
Madam Acheampongmaa claimed that the police have picked up the two girls to help them identify and apprehend the culprits to face the law.
The body of the late Isaac Arko has since been deposited in a morgue in Kumasi, awaiting post-mortem to determine what ended his life in that bizarre manner.
This is the second death in less than a month at Tafo, in the newly created Tafo Municipality in the Ashanti region.
Some few weeks ago, a final year student at Osei Kyeretwie Senior High School (SHS) at Tafo, was also stabbed to death with a pair of scissors.
In that incident, a group of suspected robbers invaded OKESS, possibly to steal mobile phones and in the process stabbed a student of the school without provocation.
The student was rushed to the hospital for medical treatment, but he reportedly died on the way to the hospital.
