ANGRY CUSTOMERS of First Allied Savings and Loans Limited in Kumasi have given the management of the company a three-day ultimatum to cough up their cash or face their wrath. Of
According to the customers of the beleaguered financial institution, they would take a shocking action to get their monies back from if their ultimatum is ignored.
One Mr. Bismarck, who spoke on behalf of the aggrieved customers, said they were being denied access to their money.
He said the customers have done everything humanly possible to access their monies but to no avail, so they were now prepared to embark on a weird action to get their monies back.
“We are facing severe financial problems because First Allied Savings and Loans Limited is refusing to give us the opportunity to withdraw our monies”, Bismarck said on Nhyira fm on Tuesday.
According to him, everything shows that First Allied Savings and Loans Limited is collapsing and that is the main reason their customers were being prevented to take their monies back.
“The Adum and Asafo branches of First Allied and Savings and Loans Ltd have been closed down as I speak with you now and we will take every action necessary to take our monies”, Bismarck, who sounded very angry, threatened.
He added “we shall demonstrate in Kumasi today and issue a three-day ultimatum afterwards. If they want to see danger, then they should refuse to give us our monies back within the three days period”.
Meanwhile, James Owusu Yeboah, PRO of First Allied Savings and Loans Ltd, speaking on the same network, flatly debunked the customers’ claim that the financial institution was rapidly collapsing.
He admitted that the company was facing some challenges due to panic withdrawal by their customers, stressing that officials of the company were doing everything possible to address the situation.
