First Copy Of ‘Reign’ Album Sold For GHC150,000

Mr. and Mrs. Sleg shocked patrons at the Reign Album Launch Concert as they bought the first copy for GHC150,000.

The ‘Reign’ album has seventeen tracks. According to the artiste, although he loves all the songs on the album, his favourite is MAMA STORIES because it is inspired by his real life struggles.

Initially, Shatta Wale offered to sell the first copy for GHC100,000 but the popular businessman offered to pay more which was GHC150,000 because according to him, Shatta Wale deserves more than what he asked for the first copy.

Anticipation was high among Ghanaians and his numerous fans across the country as Shatta Wale launched his Reign album at the Fantasy Dome, Saturday, October 13, 2018.

The four-hour event saw the kakai hitmaker perform some of his old and newest tracks to the fans who had thronged the venue to support him.

Shatta Wale rocked the stage alongside Michy, Zylofon Arts Club acts as well as the Militants. Although there were several technical hitches which caused some disruptions, the audience appeared satisfied with the event.
