Foetus Dumped In Gutter… Angry Residents Curse Culprit

AN UNKNOWN woman has committed what residents of Ayigya Ahenbronum describe as ‘abominable’, after she terminated her five months pregnancy and dumped the foetus in a gutter.

The heartbreaking sight was noticed by residents of the Kumasi suburb on Saturday, January 6, this year, and raised an alarm, attracting scores of curious people to the scene.

The assemblyman and the Unit Committee members of the Electoral Area were also informed about the dastardly act, and are helping track down whoever is behind it.

Residents Angry

Meanwhile, some residents of the area have registered their anger at the incident, with some of them raining curses and other unprintable words on the person, who committed the crime.

According to them, the dumping of the foetus in the gutter has the potential of bringing bad omen to Ayigya Ahenbronum and its people.

They therefore charged the assemblyman and other stakeholders to help identify the culprit so that the law would take its course.
