Funny Face Threatens Rapper Medikal

Comedian Funny Face, born Benson Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng has in a social media video threatened to kill popular rapper Medikal for sleeping with his baby mama, Vanessa, adding that, he would blame such iniquitous action on mental health.

“You threw a punchline that you’ve slept with Vanessa so I should be grateful. I didn’t see that message it was my fans who sent it to me. Medikal you are the last person I will end my career with. You are the last person I will end my career with. I will fucking kill you and blame it on mental health. I will deflate your fat mother,” he said.

Funny Face, known for his vibrant comedy and charismatic presence, has publicly struggled with mental health issues in the past. His latest remarks follow similar comment he made in 2021 to take the life of Vanessa Nicole, mother of his children, and commit suicide thereafter.

“Your mother, Vanessa. I’ve already told you that I shoot you. I’ll just shoot you and kill myself after that,” he said in the video on social media.

The Ghana Police Service in a post on Facebook at the time noted that its team had apprehended Funny Face and preparations were far advanced to arraigned him before a court and secure an order for psychiatric examination.

This, the Service said will aid its subsequent investigations.

“The Police have today, Monday, 18th October, 2021, at 10:14 pm arrested Benson Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng, popularly known as Funny Face for allegedly threatening certain individuals via some Social Media platforms.

“Due to the history of the suspect, the police shall submit Benson Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng to the court for an order for psychiatric examination, to determine the next line of investigative action,” the October 18 post read.

The Police Service are however yet to respond to the current threat from the comedian at the time this report was written.
