Gamashi Homowo Bash Slated For August 18
This year’s edition of the annual Gamashi Homowo bash would come off on Saturday, August 18th at the Bukom Square in Accra.
The event organizers, Halifax Entertainment, are ready to give music lovers quality entertainment.
Bound to be an event with great performances from an incredible line-up of celebrated music icons, organizers have indicated that, they are looking forward to an extraordinary concert yet to happen to the city of Accra this year.
The Gamashi Homowo Bash has on the bill Nii Funny as the headline artiste, and other artistes like Dahlin Gage, Episode, Ras Kuuku, Lil Win and many others.
The event would also feature one big surprise artiste who will rock the stage alongside colleagues in the country.
It is estimated to attract more than thousands of youth from Gamashi and its environs to entertain themselves and also to cheer up their respective ‘area champions’ who would be performing on the night at the free-ticket event, which would begin at 6 pm and continue till dawn.
Artistes billed to perform, according to the organizers, would be supported by award-winning DJs who will rock the venue with a mix of hip-hop hiplife, Afro-pop and dancehall music.
According to the organizers, this year’s edition of the ‘Gamashi Homowo Bash’ will deliver back-to-back performances from arguably the most exciting artistes of the year and music that will make fans dance all night long.
“This year, we want to give music fans a completely new experience that will leave them yearning for more,” they said.
The event is held in honour of the annual Homowo festivities with the goal of fostering a sense of community and peace among Ga Mashie indigenes and inhabitants.
The previous edition, held last year, saw about thousands of patrons in attendance, and organizers are optimistic of a very bigger crowd this year.
Music fans who will attend the event would be treated to thrilling performances from the artistes billed for the show.
