Read Madrid star, Gareth Bale, has postponed his wedding rites following family issues that saw him quarrel with his fiancée’s father.
According to a UK Sun report, the 29-year-old Los Blancos ace and childhood sweetheart Emma Rhys-Jones were looking forward to a star-studded nuptial ceremony slated for an Italian castle this summer.
However, they have now shifted it forward to 2019 after a “roller-coaster” year.
Gareth Bale and partner Emma Rhys-Jones, who recently gave birth to the couple’s third child revealed that the 26-year-old Emma believes the shift in date will afford her the opportunity to resolve issues with her 54-year-old father who has been jailed repeatedly.
In addition, she is excited that the new weeding date will allow her regain her shape after giving birth to the couple’s third baby, Axel.
Emma and Bale are also optimistic that the prolonged bitter quarrel within her family will die down if they delay the marriage ceremony.
“There’s so much family turmoil right now — they want things to settle down before tying the knot. They are still very much in love but they’ve had a lot of issues to deal with,” the source was quoted as saying.
