Ghana Beach Festival Launched

The maiden edition of Ghana Beach Festival under the theme “Best Escape Anyone Can Have” was launched at the Laboma Beach Resort in Accra last week. This is a beach event that will be held annually with the vision to stage a lifestyle event with a broad appeal and raise the bar in the tourism industry.

At the launch, the Chairperson of the Ghana Beach Festival, Nana Okatakyie Anim lauded the initiative and urged Ghanaians to partake in local tourism to boost the economy and generate employment.

Fatimah Braimah, Marketing Manager, Laboma Beach Resort said the programme will commence first quarter of next year intend to create an experience that will attract holiday revelers across the globe into the country to a package of fun-filled activities which includes music, food, drinks in a serene beach setting.

Partners for the event includes Ghana Tourism Authority, Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture; Fix Consult, TmGTV, CBaze TV, Risdan Tech, Ghana Association of Tourism Students, Synmation Studios and Bus stop.
