Ghana is where I’ve genuine peace – Burna Boy
Nigerian Dance-hall artiste, Burna Boy has described Ghana as the most peaceful country in Africa. According to the ‘Ye’ hit maker, he always finds genuine peace of mind in Ghana.
He specifically spoke about sitting at the Labadi Beach watching the ocean view, stating there was a line which separated the sea from the sky and that is where he thinks God lives.
“Traveling to Ghana, because that’s the only place I have actual genuine peace. When you go to Labadi beach and looking at Waters, at the every end of it you see there’s a line that separates Waters from the sky, I feel like that’s where God lives.” he said in an interview with Beats 1’s Julie Adenuga.
Burna Boy remarks comes after spending the 2019 new year holiday in Ghana with R2bees and fellow Nigerian Wizkid. It was during his stay in Ghana when he met UK based musician, Steflon Don, his current girlfriend.
Meanwhile, he is gearing up to release his African Giant Album later this month. The project will feature previous releases, including ‘Anybody’, ‘Dangote’, ‘Gbona’, ‘On The Low’ among others.
