There has been a lot of accusations from celebrities blaming the Ghana media for always focusing on negative news than the positive ones for society development.
From Shatta Wale, Sarkodie, Mzbel, K.K Fosu, recent one has been from Zylofon Signee Stonebwoy who claims the media has refused talking about his exploit on the international continent on his European tour.
This seems to continue and will never stop, personalities in the media fraternity are expecting more to come.
Newly nominee for Black Entertainment (BET) Awards, Kwesi Arthur has disagreed with such perceptions in the public domain.
Speaking on Starr drive with Berla Mundi and Giovanni, the young gem disclosed that, media does negative stories tho but more focused on positive news most often.
“Oh I disagree with such talks, I think the media does well. They’ve been very phenomenal in most of their duties. Tho they sometimes portray bad news, the positive has been more” – he said.
Already, he has earned a place on the international music front with his nomination in the 2018 Black Entertainment (BET) Awards.
Even though he did not win, his nomination in the Best New International Act: Viewers’ Choice category won him a lot of exposure both in and outside Ghana.
At the 2018 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, his ‘Grind Day’ hit song was adjudged the Hip hop song of the Year.
