CHURCHES IN the Ghana have been asked to intercede on behalf of the country.
This will go a long way to help lessen the economic hardship facing the people, currently.
Chairman Odeneho Kwaku Appiah aka ‘COKA’ made the passionate call on Sunday afternoon.
COKA contested for the Ashanti Regional NPP chairman position and lost narrowly recently.
He was speaking at the Upper Room Assemblies of God at Patase during a thanksgiving service.
COKA openly admitted that hardship was rampant across the globe in recent times, Ghana included.
He therefore implored churches not to stay aside and watch as the country faced problems.
COKA, a Christian, said in the Bible days, the Israelites always prayed to God in difficult times.
“Our churches should also emulate same by supporting the country with fervent prayers in bad times”.
The government, he said, is doing its best and the church should also support in the spiritual realm.
COKA also said the NPP is the best political party to properly manage the affairs of the state.
He entreated every NPP member to work towards victory 2024 to enable the NPPP to break the eight.
The Majority Leader, Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu and other party bigwigs attended the church service.
