Ghana Premier League to Be Played in Mornings
Ghana FA president Kwesi Nyantakyi has hinted that some matches of the Ghana Premier League could be played in the mornings.
This he said was to avoid clash with games at the 2018 FIFA World Cup finals in Russia.
The 2017/2018 season starts next January and it does not look like the first round could come to an end before the summer tournament in Russia begins.
To avoid matches being played simultaneously with World Cup games, Ghana FA president Kwesi Nyantakyi has said the kick off times could change.
”We are going to start our season next year January-February and we hope that it will not clash with the World Cup,” Nyantakyi said during the ExCo summit in Cape Coast
”We may do an accelerated program to finish the first round before the World Cup. The other option is for the PLB to scheduled games that will not clash with the World Cup fixtures.
”We may have our league games probably played in the morning to avoid coinciding with the Mundial fixtures.”
