Ghana XI vs Tunisia: Nuhu, Afriyie Acquah starts; Kwadwo Asamoah benched

Black Stars head coach, Kwesi Appiah, has named Midfielder Afriyie Acquah and Defender Kasim Nuhu in the team to face Tunisia in the AFCON Round of 16 clash on Monday evening.

He has also handed atarying roles for youngster Samuel Owusu.

Midfielder, Kwadwo Asamoah who started the last game against Cameroon after missing the first game against Benin, has been left on the bench.

Ghana will line up in a 4-2-3-1 formation with Acquah expected to form a double pivot midfield with Mubarak Wakaso and Thomas Partey just in front of them.

Kasim Nuhu, who is returning from suspension, will start at center back alongside John Boye.

The Black Stars will make it to the Quarterfinals stage of the competition if they win tonight’s game and would face Madagascar on Thursday.

Kick off time for Tonight’s match is 9:00pm local time (7:00pm GMT).
