Ghanaian youngster Clinton Duodu has completed a transfer to Cypriot club Apollon Limassol from Bechem United.
The 19-year-old will stay in Cyprus until 2027 as part of the deal, marking his departure from the Ghana Premier League team. Duodu, who began making waves as a 15-year-old, has gained significant attention as one of the most promising young talents in Ghana’s top flight.
Primarily a right winger, Duodu has showcased his versatility by playing in various roles throughout his career.
His transfer to Apollon Limassol follows a trend of Ghanaian stars moving abroad, with David Oduro of Accra Lions and Abdul Aziz Issah of Dreams FC recently joining FC Barcelona’s youth teams.
During his tenure at Bechem United, Duodu made 96 appearances, scoring seven goals and providing three assists.
In addition to his club success, he has represented Ghana’s Under-20 team, the Black Satellites.
Duodu’s move to Apollon Limassol represents a significant step in his career and highlights the growing trend of Ghanaian talent making their mark on the international stage.
